Winners of "Buy Local" campaign bank $5000 Cash Who would have thought that buying a car locally would earn you money?  The "Buying Local" Campaign was launched by Mackay car dealers to encourage local people to keep their money in the community by choosing to purchase  their new cars locally.   Our local paper, the Daily Mercury helped promote the campaign.  Entry to the draw was open for 1 year. A few weeks ago, owners of a new Nissan Navara from North Jacklin, Ian & Glenda Froyland found themselves $5,000 richer when their name was picked out of the draw! Glenda entered the "Buying Local" draw through our company email newsletter and needless to say, Ian & Glenda are most happy with the result and are thinking about spending the money on an overseas holiday.
